Ingredients

  • 2 cups macadamia nuts or cashews
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups purified water
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrot
  • 1/2 red bell pepper or tomato
  • 2 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. mineral salt
  • 2 Tbsp chickpea miso
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast (PRL brand only)
  • 1 clove garlic
Vegan Cheese Sauce

Directions

  1. Soak the macadamia nuts or cashews for 1 hour in pure water then rinse well.
  2. Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Add more water if needed.
  4. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
