Nobody has mentioned how easily weight falls off when eating these meals! I haven’t managed a full week yet though because the meals take a lot of prep and sometimes I don’t want to give myself that time – obviously something to work on. Each week is better than the last though, so I’m pleased with my progress!
I have been feeling less inflammation, slim and find it easier to move and be active. Overall “Magical”

New Years Love Camp Session: Thank you for the “power of breath” cortisol tip!!! I need to do that!!! I’m a little high strung and anxious and gain weight in my stomach when stressed. I plan to continue eating this way indefinitely. My PMS was almost all gone eating like this. I have gotten a lot from the meditation tips as well. I have been having a lot of synchronicities!

I am looking to keep my kids motivated, teach them how to take care of themselves and raise awareness among others… get more children and teens inspired and learn about what they put into their body. First of ALL I want to say THANK YOU. I have learned ALOT. A LOT ! LOT! Elaina was very patient taking in consideration all multiple language differences, and student from all level. Her course was very professional (I attended Pure Joy Academy’s October 2015 course in Bali), hygiene is a very high point for me and all was up to my high standard. Explanation of recipes were all demonstrated and then we made them. Respect of the agenda on daily basis, and enough ingredients to perform. Of course the course would not have been to good without a dedicated team on her side. I definitely insist on the professionalism of PURE JOY ACADEMY as I have done another course in June 2016 in Bali again and it was really disappointed. So for all of you who want a full understanding on Raw Food do not hesitate to join her!
This course is awesome and it’s only day two! I highly recommend it and being taught by Elaina Love herself – well, what can I say? She is just incredible. I bought my son with me and my husband arranged for two weeks off to come with an…d then our nanny will help us out with the rest. I feel so grateful to be here and to be in the presence of such great and inspiring people. Elaina is so knowledgeable and so talented, genuine and a beautiful, inspiring teacher. I am so looking forward to my 3.5 weeks (4 weeks all up) here and meeting Chris this Friday. I love how gourmet low glycemic foods + nutrition have been weaved together to make this a VERY dynamic, exciting and able-to-apply course whether you are new to raw, or are a chef this is such a great environment to be in. What Elaina and Chris are doing is very special and we are so lucky to have them come to Asia to personally share their knowledge and experience.

Last week I got to participate in a Pure Joy Culinary Academy Class in BH (Level 1). I highly recommend anybody wanting to learn this life changing lifestyle take one of these courses if possible. Got someone in your life that needs help? Learn this approach and make a positive difference. I had a great time and am very happy with the amount of information I learned and the amount of new recipes I am now familiar with. Making healthy Chocolate Mousse Pudding and Choco-Maca Milkshakes from scratch in under 15 min is still mind blowing. It was refreshing to see a balanced approach to the raw food movement with consideration of the benefits of some cooked healthy foods. I am not vegan or vegetation but am mindful of what I eat and try to stay away from. You don’t have to give up your favorite foods, just change the ingredients.

Since completing my 4 week certification in Bali it’s been so easy eating high raw. With the recipes and tools Elaina Love taught me I always seems to have beautiful, ready to eat, living foods in the house. And because of the nutritional information I learned from Chris Whitcoe I have zero interest in including poor quality, cooked foods into my diet. I really can’t thank them enough, Pure Joy changed everything. I am so happy!
You will have all the chances to mingle with Elaina. She’s extremely hands-on and approachable when it comes to asking questions or you can strike a conversation with her anytime during off-hours like lunch or after class. You’re also welcome to ask questions during class while she’s doing a demo, while you’re doing hands-on, or during Chris’ discussions.
What I love most about Elaina’s classes is that she’s very open-minded and listens a lot to her participants. She sets a very relaxed atmosphere that is not intimidating and puts everyone right at ease with each other. While Attending Elaina Love’s Pure Joy Academy in Ubud, Bali I was able to grasp and truly understand scientifically how simple optimal health is for each of us! Disease occurs when our cells are not functioning optimally, it is that simple! In order for our cells to function optimally we need sufficient nutrients and a lack of toxins in the body. This is the key to health, endurance and vitality! Chris Whitcoe is an extraordinary educator. He merges intuition with science in a clear concise manner which has empowered and enhanced my life tenfold!

I do so much want to thank you again for the last two weeks precious space you created for us! I feel I am am lucky as I have you as my first formal raw food teacher and mentor and friend! I have been following your posts from the latest academy and it looks like everyone is having a wonderful time. It made me reflect on my time in Bali and how much we actually learned in such a short time. I think at the time it was all a little overwhelming to fully appreciate, but 6 months later & plenty of time to practice it really is apparent to me how much effort and thought must have gone into putting the course together. What I love most about all what we learned is the variety of recipes, techniques, and cuisines we touched on and the fact that every single recipe in your book works, amazing!

After the coursework, I headed home as a renewed and revived person, thanks to Elaina’s healthy vegan raw cuisine! Her passion and zest for life is so infectious, that I want to head home and teach all the knowledge imparted to millions of Filipino’s who are malnourished. I attended Elaina Love’s Pure Joy Academy’s Raw Chef Certification Program Level 1-4 and Detox Certification in Bali 2014 at Villa Gaia Retreat Center. The experience for me was one of total immersion in cutting edge health, healing and nutrition as well as raw food culinary mastery. Elaina operates as a seasoned retreat maestro and master chef offering an intensive hands on training that left me feeling deeply inspired about my own new found health as well as truly confident in the arena of raw food preparation, leading detox programs and health counseling. The skills she shares are top notch and the tools and ingredients we had to work with were the very best on earth! I feel privileged to have attended the training and I would recommend it to anyone serious about raw food living and working.
Arriving home I immediately wanted to start playing around with raw foods…It was heaven. I also juiced and juiced and juiced! It has been awesome to show and tell people about everything I have learned and continue to learn while hoping and getting my wonderful friends and family interested/abroad the raw food program! This was my first experience with doing a detox and it has changed my life!! I was nervous going into it but Elaina and Chris made the process so easy while providing all of the facts about what was happening in our bodies.
